Young Indiana is two weeks old today. He has, according to his two week checkup, gained 3 oz since birth. I have lost 21.6 pounds since his birth. I think this is an excellent weight exchange.

Glad to hear from you today - was about to send up a note to check you were alive..

Young Indiana is sticking then... will have to get him the right accessories, age permitting of course.

Hugs. Sleep...well.....

It's sticking for the purposes of referring to him on the blog, anyway. I have no intention at all of calling him Young Indiana in real life.

Not often, anyway. :)

I think Indiana is a great nickname (but I *am* prejudiced). A was Wiggler inside me, and Buglet outside (snug as a bug in a rug).

The sleeping at the same time will come, often right after nursing. I had a CSection, so I wasn't allowed to lift him for a while, and the rocker & other chairs were too uncomfortable for nursing (my funny bone hit the edge *just right*. Ow!) I took to nursing A in bed, on my side. For a long while, this was how I got some reading in--the book held in my upper hand. A would often fall asleep not quite finished with nursing, and I'd drift off, too.

I think this is an excellent weight exchange.

As long as it has a definite end point. Otherwise, you'll have vanished by the time he gains more than a pound!

*pauses to calculate that* Nah. He'd have to gain TWO pounds for me to vanish entirely. :)
