I read this web comic, Questionable Content, which has been going on since 2003 and which is mostly fairly entertaining in a college soap opera kind of way. Anyway, apparently the first book is coming out soon, and the artist has re-drawn at least some of the original pages. That is a bit of a difference, yeah. I don't read QC, but I have been following Planet Karen. (Half personal diary, half webcomic. Updates have taken a sharp decline since her apartment building burned down last February, but I think the archives make for a very good read.) Here's the first strip. That's early '06. Here's something a little more recent. Though this one is perhaps a little more typical, the other really highlights how far she's come in just a few years. She even does commissions now. If you poke around a bit more, you can watch her art style grow and evolve. It's pretty cool.
