*laugh* My dad's older sister, who doesn't read fantasy (urban or otherwise) said, when she read URBAN SHAMAN, "I really /liked/ it! I mean, I was always going to read it and be polite, but I really /liked/ it!" :)

Your mom's obviously cool. :) Try her on HEART OF STONE...it's got romance as well as fantasy! :)
