The entirely wonderful Leah Moore and John Reppion were in Dublin yesterday to do a signing at Sub City, our favorite neighborhood (for some value of neighborhood) comic shop. I went in to Dublin to see them and to run errands, and had a really very splendid day.
( oh, this got quite long, I’ll cut-tag it… )

Sorry I missed you yesterday. :( But will hopefully see you soon. I'm intrigued by a Gaelcon committee member saying that as it's been, er, several years since the con had a guest, but hey, that's no reason for them not to start again!

Wheeee! Sounds like you had a lovely day... It's amazingly similar to the day I had-- I went to my local comic book store (picked up next issue of 'Chance' and a bunch of other things) and went to the farmer's market and the covered market and just had fun.

So oddly enough I know the guy, (oddly enough named Guy), who you hand shilled books too. He was telling me the story from his side, and it was oddly familiar!

*laughs* Yeah, I knew his name was Guy, since I signed the books for him. Funny that you know him, though! Small...country!

Indeed, it is a small country. Though that being said, the gaming community is pretty small as well.
