Apparently there’s trad music at Keogh’s on Wednesday and Fridays at 10pm, and at Tally Ho on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. I am not very good at being Irish. It’s 10:30 and I’m going to *bed*. The idea of leaving the house at a quarter to ten for music is just bizarre.

Ah, but there is a trick to this that us salsa addicts use, because anywhere that's anywhere doesn't truly start dancing until 11:00 or later. When you finish work for the day, grab dinner and then take a two to three hour nap. Once done, get ready and go out to the venue. Dance for 5+ hours until close, grab something to eat (if necessary...it usually is) then go home and get what usually amounts to four or five hours of sleep. It adds up to a full night's sleep; just in installments!

How popular does it turn out to be? Silly question sort of, since you don't GO, but I'm curious :)

I think we're all just getting old -- I have a very hard time mustering energy to LEAVE for a social event or concert that late at night, no matter how weird my current schedule is, never mind when I'm working a "normal" day job.
