tomorrow, we write

Today is going to be full of Doing Work That Isn’t Writing. I have a dream that someday I will no longer be behind the 8 ball. (This would no doubt be made easier if I would stop taking on new projects. I spent a good hour on Saturday looking at my shelf of books I’ve written and trying to figure out where “taking a break” fit into the next few ( Read more... )

You might be suffering from an effusion of ideas, KitKat. I think when true success hits a writer, either too many or two few ideas follow. You're enjoying the former; Dan Brown suffers the latter. ;) (Yes, I know, he's sold ten trillion copies of his books, but come on, he's a one-trick pony. He's just a RICH one-trick pony.)

I really need to read Scalzi. I read his blog a lot, but I've never read his fiction. Once NaNo is over and I've finished Brust I'll hit it, but there's still a few of your books I want to read too.

And I told you you wouldn't slow down. Ted needs to dose you with more chocolate or something.

But ... but ... there's *already* a "CD" book! You can't have two books with the same initials!

Just started The Last Colony, having been saving it as one of my 'finished the writing of a book, can now do reading of books' treats.

Along with Heart of Stone (et sequelae) :)

ZOE'S TALE was excellent, I'm pleased to say. And Scalzi's AGENT TO THE STARS and YOUR HATE MAIL WILL BE GRADED recently came out. I haven't read them yet, but expect them to be excellent too.

Ummm, if you're reading this then does that count as procrastination too? Back to work! Or not-work, as the case may be, as long as there are things and the doing of things.

I've got Agent to the Stars to review for Interzone. I believe this counts as WIN!
