LOL, I can't help but think, from Alaska to Europe, have you ever felt 93 degrees before? LOL LOL, no, I'm not saying you missed something in your writing (although I'd never wear jeans and knit tank top above 80), I'm just laughing that it's possible for a human being to never feel a temp above 85 degrees. Oh, you know who did that and it ALWAYS cracks me up! Stephen King! Yeah, yeah, The Stand! When Frannie is burying her father in the yard. She's sweating, it running into her eyes, it's soooo hot. She worries that bodies are going to start rotting even quicker because of the heat. The tremendous heat! It's like 82. BAH HA HAhahahahahaha!
So what's the hottest day you've experienced? I don't even want to ask about the coldest. I went to kindergarten in Seward, LOL, had to wear spikes on my shoes to get up the hill to school.

*grin* I remember in Fairbanks one winter when you had a friend who was kvetching about it being so terribly cold in Florida that day--at, like, 65. It was -40 in Fairbanks at the time, and you pointed out to your friend to stop whining, s/he was in a place that was literally over a hundred degrees warmer than where you were.

That was st_rev, actually, and it's one of my favorite memories. In fact, it was like 88 degrees where he was, and he was bitching about the server room being a frrreeeeeezing 65 degrees. :)

Okay. I've been thinking this for a while, but two rabbit-story themed posts in one day does it.

Catie, you ought to check out my friend s00j. She's a traveling bard and does a lot of storytelling involving paganism, mythology (both modern and not), and is just a generally all-around awesome person. Her most recent post (from today) talks about a new book that she co-authored, called Rabbit's Song. I think you'd like each other's work.

(And a Honey Baby? *snerk* Awesome.)

. . . you also need to check out yuki_onna, aka Catherynne M. Valente. I'd've recommend you and Cherie Priest to each other, too, but you guys beat me to the punch a good year or two ago.

Okay, forget the other books in my "to be read" pile. You're making me go back and reread all the Walker Papers books now. Charlaine Harris and Jim Butcher curse you. ;)
