I had one of those wretched back-to-college dreams where you realize it's halfway through the semester and you've only gone to the first week of classes, and you don't actually know your schedule, much less what's going on in any of the classes but you've decided that by God you're going to pull this semester together somehow so you've nerved

I used to dream around finals that I had a class that I'd registered for, but never had attended. Now I had to take the final! And if it was a really good version of the dream - I ended up being naked when I got to take the exam too.

Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and Other Realities of Adolescence by Rosalind Wiseman is a fascinating and enlightening look on why 6th grade Best Friends Forever betray each other in 7th grade and never understand why, and why some girls are nasty and others don't do anything about it, and so forth. Recommended.

(Unrelated, it's unfortunate that the light blue background in the textbox for commenting is the same light blue as highlighting, at least in Firefox 2.0.0.2, so that when selecting text with the mouse for cutting, you can't actually tell what's been selected.)
