I mourn the passing of the sexy boots. Not that I was likely to be seeing them, but still, I have principles and one of them is that women's boots should look like those.

I'm sorry B&B wasn't as good as you hoped. Have you ever seen the Lion King Broadway? It is incredible. It's got to be the most magical thing I've ever seen on the stage. It's a whole lot of wow.

Was the gargoyle-thing still in the show? 11-12 years after the fact, that's the one thing that stands out in my mind from the production I saw in Minneapolis. But I have that infamous sieve-mind for media, which may be part of the problem. o.O

Glad you made it to the show, sorry to hear the boots aren't working out!

I think it suffered badly in comparison to the stage version of The Lion King, which is at least as good as the film, and possibly better due to the sheer technical wonder of it all.
Yah. That.

BatB actually makes Lion King look more impressive, in that BatB is quite a popular stage musical, so it makes you realize how little effort Disney actually would have had to put into a Lion King musical and still have it be a success... which makes me figure they did what they did (in Lion King) as a pure labor of love.
