*beam* My cathedral photo got top post on day_on_earth. I gotta say, that community makes me want to go out and take pictures every single day. Or possibly it makes me want to turn kitsnaps/kitsnaps into something more interactive. Comment spam made me really have to turn the comments off there, but maybe I should see if the software upgrade deals with that on any ( Read more... )

That's a nice picture. If it's not perfect, it's definitely good enough that one can start looking at it and working out what the flaws are, and how to get it even better. (Unlike my usual efforts, I should add. Oh, I just did.)

(PS. On a totally different subject, having just finished Urban Shaman and then T'bird Falls, I'm now waiting for Walker #3. Yes, I know, you do now have cover art. Excuse me, it should have been out yesterday! Writers. Hmmphh. No consideration for their readers. Muttermutterporridgedrool.)

It's pretty good. I liked it enough, and thought it was distinct enough, to post as my day_on_earth submission, but it's not something I'd use in a photo gallery or even to really show off my photography skills. I *did* like the sun glinting off the cathedral clock, though! :)

*laughs*! May! COYOTE will be out in May! I'm doing my best to keep new books coming out for voracious readers, really! (I realized yesterday that between writing COYOTE DREAMS and CAULDRON BORNE, the 4th book in the series, I will have written *five* other books. Ye gods!) :)

Yes, that glint was good. And deliberate? Ye gods, I'm going to give up.

And woman, how do you expect us to wait till May? May! I ask you! You'd better be walking round Wynn's with a sign on your back saying "No novels are stored aboard overnight", or you might get mugged.

*laugh* I'm afraid it was deliberate, yeah. But don't give up! :) I actually took quite a few photography classes in school and learned a fair bit about setting up shots and the like. I was good enough to get a college scholarship for photography, but I more or less stopped pursuing it after a year or two. I'm trying to get back into it now, because I really did love it.

*laughs more* I'm not terribly likely to have give-away copies of COYOTE by PCon, either. This is probably not a good time to tell you that the fourth book in that series won't be out til 2009, either, is it. :)

Here's a line for your wikipedia entry: "Not content with overloading the available capacity of several publishing houses, she then turned her sights to conquest of the photographic world." :)

If your agent is telling you to produce less, you might be an overachiever....
