My intention to go into town today was thwarted by getting up and discovering a heavy fog was upon us. I'd been waiting for a heavy fog to go down to the old graveyard and do a photo shoot, so that's what I did. And by the time I was done, my feet and shoes were completely soaked, so I ended up coming home, putting my shoes in the dryer, and ( Read more... )

Nobody warned you about fog in Ireland being wet?

I suppose in Alaska it would have been dry as everything would have been frozen.

Did you get any good photos or did you just give up in disgust at the wet feet?

I didn't have any more sensible shoes to wear. :) I did get some good photos! They'll be up on kitsnaps soon, or at least coming to you on a daily basis. :)

For an excursion to a graveyard on a cold, frosty, foggy day in ireland I would suggest a pair of thick woolly socks, a pair of wellington boots (one full size bigger that normal shoe size), multiple layers of jumper and a woolly hat.

I would also suggest some baggy trousers which would not be very stylish, but would keep one warm.

I look forward to seeing the art for which you suffered.

(Actually, your posting gives me more ideas for the art I'm preparing for you.)
