Up until a few days ago I was still entertaining the notion that somehow, sure, I was going to pull Nanowrimo out of the hat and participate. I’m not sure I thought that was a realistic goal, but I was hanging on to it anyway.

I did NaNo once, back before I was published, and it was fun. (Sort of. I run a shop, so after Thanksgiving, things can get kind of busy.) But these days, it just doesn't fit my writing agenda. I've got to finish revisions on one things, and write a proposal/synopsis for another, neither of which leave time for NaNo.
