I was at a launch once for a collection of Star Trek poetry, and the books hadn't come and hadn't come, and then just before the start time there they were, fresh from the printer - and the title page was white-on-black, and between each of the poems was a page of black, and oh boy. Those books really did smell of the ink...

I used to have subtle but very definite blond streaks at the temples and widow's peak. Now it's just swamped by gray. Age is bad, someone should fix that.
