house hunting

We’ve been house hunting. I feel like I’ve been doing nothing at all work-wise (that’s because I’ve been doing nothing at all work-wise) and I feel like I don’t know what I HAVE been doing, although house hunting has been part of it.

House hunting is so draining. It makes a lot more sense as draining if you think of it as "considering reordering all the details of my life in infinite possible recombinations, while thinking of finance" than if you think of it as "wandering in and out of houses." Anyway, sympathies.
