I’ve been working on this list for a while, and in the past few days an actual meme of it seems to have popped up on Facebook, so I don’t know, maybe it’s in the gestalt. It was surprisingly difficult to come up with the list.

Ten movies I will watch over and over again, in no particular order:

1. While You Were Sleeping
2. The Cutting Edge
3. The ( Read more... )

Interesting. Princess Bride is definitely on mine, as is A Knight's Tale. I love The Cutting Edge and Much Ado, but haven't watched them in a while.

My list would have to include Monty Python's Holy Grail, some Mel Brooks (Blazing Saddles, at the very least), Under the Tuscan Sun, Notting Hill, About a Boy, and an obscure little Indy film starring Rufus Sewell and Minnie Driver called Uncorked (it's about wine and family and spirituality, with amazing music).

Mine apparently fall into three major categories:
"favorite fantasy movies from childhood"
"comedy"
"visually commanding and violent"
All of which I have watched over and over and over.

Ladyhawke
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Labyrinth
Princess Bride
The Dark Crystal
The Sword and the Rose*
Natural Born Killers
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
History of the World Part I

*The only one of these I haven't watched about a billion times, but fits nicely between fantasy and violence.

I want to throw one liners from each, but, will settle for
