Courtesy of jezebel.com, JKR had a wardrobe malfunction. Hey, at least she's wearing underwear.

BTW, does anyone know what's going with the_eros_affair? The deadline was pushed back once, and now it looks like the extended deadline has come and gone too. Unless I've missed something, I haven't seen any annoucements about it and the web site looks like it hasn't ( Read more... )

Apropos of nothing, JKR's new haircut bugs me, for some reason. It's just wrong for her face.

I wish I knew what was up with the eros affair. It seems that people are just posting their fics at their journals. I have put mine on 2nd priority now after hd_holidays.

Between the bottle blond and the haircut she's starting to remind me of Edie Falco/Carmela Soprano, and I'm not sure if a New Jersey housewife is a look a successful British author should pick for her inspiration. What happened to her red hair?

I think I'm going to my eros affair fic on hold too. It's not like I don't have fest fics to work on either. It's just too bad that the fest fizzled. Again.

how strange about the fest. you could just finish the fic and then post it to your journal--it's not like it's an anon exchange where you have a recipient.

Oh, of course. I was just curious if anyone had heard anything news about the fest because I had heard nothing and poked around the web site and got nothing there either.

isn't eros run by Aja? and if so, didn't she burn her shirt and leave? or was it taken over by someone else in the last few years?

Yeah, Aja made a post in August after lj debacle, saying that the fest was moving to her web site. But other than that she seems to have disappeared.

That's probably a good assumption to make:) I'm kinda on the fence about my entry. I've been having fun with it, but I probably should shelve it and work on my hd_holidays fic. I'm not good working on fics without deadlines though. They tend to languish.

I'm looking forward to reading yours, btw. You posted it about two minutes before I logged off last night.
