I got to go to EOS for a few hours! It was great! Having the elder of the Wex kids on hand for my first hour there made a huge difference. I had hoped to have a team of teens to keep the kid busy, but sadly I didn't connect with my other two most likely candidates. But with lovely adults like drwex, lifecollage and spinrabbit around, I got in a few extra conversations

It was great to see you and I'm glad Thing 1 didn't flub too badly (the head bump had me worried). I'm also sorry he wasn't into strange adults as I'm happy to take a turn with him whenever I'm around. Kids with opinions, who'd'a thunk it.

Thing 1 was fine. Even the most attentive adult will find themselves at a loss in the face of dealing with an awake Crime Fighter. So that? As long as there's no lasting damage and no need for the emergency room... OK, and no grossnegligence, we can assume I'm going to be pretty laid back. FWIW.
