Ok, I didn't care for the movie that much.. but OOH! connections to HOLLYWOOD! that's cool :)

Of course I have a very strange taste for dark movies. Darko certainly wasn't near the top of my picks however. I always save that for stuff like 'The Boonedock Saints' and 'Gross Point Blank' or if you happen to be in a REALLY bad mood: 'Very Bad Things' or even 'The Last Supper.' But even though the movie itself was a bit off and occasionally dragged on (and on) I liked the smart-ass attitude of the main character so much, that I couldn't help but like the movie on some level. Sorta like if you don't care for 'American Beauty' (but how could you not like THAT movie?) you still have to really cheer for Kevin's Spacey when he blackmails his boss out of a sick severance package and/or finally tells his overbearing wife to get a corncob-ectomy.
