About you
My name is:Arianna
Gender:Female
Because we do respect the lj code here, are you over 13?:Yes
How has your day been so far? (Just curious): Fine. I'm a bit under the weather but that's okay. I live with insomnia so it's forcing my body to rest. Thanks for asking though. I wonder how many people are asked that each day? Not a lot I bet.

More about you
What are your hobbies/talents/interests?:
Solitary walks. Discussing religion. My fandoms. Art. Writing. I have two more hobbies but they are too close to the hobbies/talents of one ( or two) character(s) and I don't want to be thought of as a character pusher. I've become quickly addicted to these stamping comms.
Give us 5 positive adjectives to describe yourself: Kind-hearted.Considerate. Compassionate.Generous.Maternal.
Give us 5 negative adjectives to describe yourself:Reserved. (Self)Critical. Perfectionist. Timid. Anxious.
And what do you think your best quality is?:Big-hearted. I prefer to believe there is good in everyone.
And what is your worst?: I have a difficult time saying "no" when asked to do something, and can become over-burdened. I'm one of those people who volunteer to stay behind. I'm not really like girls my age. I don't really see the point in going out and getting drunk. Plus I can't dance. I'm viewed as the boring one.
What do you think draws other people to you?: *points up* Us 'boring ones' are always dependable. We get stuff done and people like that. I'm good at helping people and understanding people. I'm polite and respectful to people and my father told me that one of his friends adores me for that.

Your favorites
Books:The Bible, Jane Eyre, Tale of Two Cities, Pride and Prejudice, North & South, Wuthering Heights, David Copperfeild.

Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show.' David Copperfeild
'I cannot lead you into battle. I do not give you laws or administer justice but I can do something else - I can give my heart and my devotion to these old islands and to all the peoples of our brotherhood of nations. ' Elizabeth II
I think the biggest disease the world suffers from in this day and age is the disease of people feeling unloved. I know that I can give love for a minute, for half an hour, for a day, for a month, but I can give. I am very happy to do that, I want to do that.
Princess Diana

Mr. Miyazaki
First Miyazaki movie you saw? How old were you and did you like the movie then?: Princess Mononoke. I remember Howl's Moving Castle had just come out and I had heard great things about it and Spirited Away , Kiki's Delivery Service, and Princess Mononoke was available to rent. I enjoyed it so much that I was kicking myself for not renting his films sooner. Age wise I think I was in my teens/late teens.
Favorite Miyazaki movie?: The easier question would be which one I don't love. I can watch My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke,Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and never get bored. Though I must say the voice casting they got for the English dub of Howl Moving Castle & Kiki's Delivery Service impressed me a lot. I haven't seen Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea yet but it looks so adorable.
Least favorite Miyazaki movie?: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. It just didn't click with me.
Favorite character from a Miyazaki movie?: Jiji , I'm such a huge Phil Hartman fan and he did such a great job with Jiji.
If you could magically become one character out of a Miyazaki film for one day, who would you want to be?: Although I haven't seen it I would like to be Ponyo. I'm a horrible swimmer so I tend to avoid pools and beaches. It would be nice to see the world below just once.

Would you prefer a same gender stamp or all that's listed?: *whispers* Can I ask for both? If not then female because I think he creates wonderful female characters.
Anything else you feel like adding while you're at it?:
I'm very much the nurturer in my family. I'm very sensitive to other people's feelings. I'm told I'm considerate.I have a strong sense of responsibility and duty. I take my responsibilities very seriously. When under stress , I become quite critical of myself.I have a hard time expressing my feelings.
