I bet there aren't a lot of Americans who could pass that US Culture class. It sounds intimidating as hell, and I'm frightened of it just by the description of your final! But you do have a lot of interesting sounding classes, like English Language Analysis and Text Analysis. Very interesting.

This class is absolutely insane. We're traslation majors, not history majors for Heaven's sake! *grunts* But we do have some pretty interesting classes. :)

I don't think I learned that much US history, and I should have had 12 years of it.
Also, NAACP is the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. It's a civil rights group, I think Dr. Martin Luther King was heavily involved. And that, I'm sad to say, is all I know without refreshing my memory on the interwebs.

If it's any reassurance, I probably won't remember half of all I currently know about US history in what, one week's time? Things are already starting to melt in my brain... >.>
