So, uh, my student teacher added two students in my Socials class and we're pretty creeped out. Especially since we were the class so awful that he decided he didn't want to teach us anymore.
My math teacher told us that he thought it crossed the line and also, that he would never ever get a Facebook account or Twitter or any other social

ok I am a teacher and I will not friend any of my students.. can we say creepy?! So many of them ask me if I have facebook all the time which is why I don't have my last name on facebook! My students and I are so close in age.. I don't want my students knowing what I'm doing and I definitely don't want to know what they are doing!

Exactly. It's much better if teachers and students don't see what's going on in each other's personal lives.
It's just awkward. :P

Some of my friends are friends with a teacher we had in HS. I think it depends on the teacher.

However, I personally wouldn't friend a teacher while I still go to the school. After graduation is a different story. I still keep in contact with some HS teachers.

Well, you're right. After graduation, that's cool. My sister still talks to her favourite high school teacher online sometimes.
But like you said, if the person is still your teacher or if you still go to the school, then it's probably not the best idea.

Yea I think thats kinda creepy and odd. I would never add a teacher lol. I added my boss and I already regret that decision :(

Lol, yeah. You have to remember, everybody can see what you put on Facebook, so you have to be extra careful when it comes to adding bosses and teachers and stuff.

My teacher said, a teacher shouldn't add another student on Facebook until he or she graduates.
Accepting a teacher's friend request or adding them back is putting yourself at risk.
Anything on your Facebook can be used against you.

I definitely agree with your teacher there.
You never know what they might accidentally see on your page and it might really affect you.
