I love how with all the writers I've found who write J/T, we all have a slightly different approach, but arrive at the same place. THESE TWO NEED EACH OTHER IN THEIR LIVES.
This is a wonderful snapshot into their relationship as it grows- there's so many things I want to know. And this is officially the first I've seen foraying into smut! Well done!

In the conversation I had with perfectlystill, one of us made the comment that we could see them writing songs in bed together, and the muse hit, hard. I didn't want to get explicitly smutty (though I'm not against it, I just didn't want that for this story), but I wanted to address it because with the type of guy he is, it'd be a huge part of their relationship, for better or worse. Thanks so much, I'm glad I didn't bomb completely on that!
THESE TWO NEED EACH OTHER IN THEIR LIVES. Clearly! They are each other's matching black swans, remember?! Thanks so much for this, and your encouragement and everything else!

Sex was just that for him, sex, because it had been a part of who he was for so long now, but she needed that commitment, his stability when her world would forever shift on its axis. Sure enough, it opened her up further, freed her in a way neither of them ever anticipated, but would never ever regret.LOVE THIS SO MUCH. You've managed to capture both of their personalities so well here, the fact that they're so similar and so different at the same time. It works so well and shows how they would "complete" each other, I guess. This entire piece is just so lovely and ( ... )

That bit you quoted was hard for me to word correctly, and I'm still not too sure about it. I was afraid it was too out of character, so to speak; I see them being outwardly opposite but inwardly very very similar to one another, hence why no one else seems to really get it or even see how it'd work.
No, THANK YOU, so much because without you planting this plot bunny, this story wouldn't even exist at all. Sorry about the adding, I thought I did that a long time ago! Fixed now! Thanks again, and can you believe the turn this has all taken in the last few weeks?! Insane!
