right after the spurs won the nba championship in '03, my mom and i went to foley's to buy shirts. i'm sure we bought no less than 10. and we stood in line for about an hour to buy them. it's such an amazing feeling when your team wins a championship. congratulations!

We've been waiting for this for years and years and years--twenty-six, to be exact. This whole city is on air, and yes, in the grand scheme of things, placing so much importance on a sports team is kind of dumb...but happiness is a rare and fleeting thing, so why not enjoy it when it comes?

PS: Go Spurs! My closest Aunt and Uncle are from San Antonio! :)
