The shakes don't stop. They might just get a little worse, even.
"What?" Megan's head turns a little too fast, and by a little too fast we mean at all; she grimaces hard. Her head tilts downward about the same time as both hands lift, covering her face. "Ah!" From the sound of it, that translates roughly to ow.
"Tianna, I--" That's wobbly. Not to mention stunned, dazed. Beat. Two. Two and a quarter. "The, the seal broke. The s-seal broke. Didn't it?"
That might sound like nonsense. Then again, considering what she was saying as she came in... it might just constitute a clue. Heh, clue.
Alec reaches out to hold her steady. She looks like she's going through some sort of temporal flux and this place isn't quite that great for those sorts.
Narrowly avoiding spacetime decompression is bad enough. Feeling like bits of you aren't quite attached, even if they are... eww. Out of sorts indeed. "Ah, don't! What--" Excuse her while she convinces herself that her left elbow joint isn't actually going to stay thirty years in her own past. Sorry, Alec.
Eventually. "I. I'm dead." Beat. "I'm dead. If the seal failed, there's no way any of us survived that. I'm--" She's still shaking.
How else does one explain a... bar? in the middle of a damaged timeship?
