Many pups! Many Places. //Star Wars OCs and regular OCs

Sitting by the fireplace, Alec is hunched over fumbling on the strings of an instrument that looks to be a cross between an guitar and a lute. He's got some sheet music spread out in front of him as he plucks and strums his way through it. It's not cat screechingly bad. More like someone who needs to practice more often than they are. And that's ( Read more... )

Tiwa flops down beside Alec with a grin,

"What's that?"

"That's too bad, playing is fun."

She's glowing, the last time she saw Jamie was amazing.

Alec is intent enough on his music that he doesn't notice that he's being stared at. The song is a love ballad of two lovers who not even the gods and time could keep apart.

The lyrics, written on the sheets, are rather sappy, but the music is lyrical. Especially when Alec gets to a part he's good at.

He looks up and then gives a grin.

"I didn't write the song. My uncle bought the music for a half-pen while we were traveling."

And there's no reason Melkor shouldn't be amused. Carth's used two of his nine lives already.

I'm sure death gods always find cats amusing.

...Especially when the cat looks like a grown man and is 100% focused on poking apart a magpie's nest that he's managed to steal. There are things in it.

Cats can be very amusing.

Cats who managed to look like humans as well.

Melkor's had enough amusing things to do with cats over the long years. Taking a napkin he rolls it into a ball and then bounces it lightly at Carth.

In the split second that it takes the napkin to bounce into view, Carth's ears, eyes, face, and torso twist to look and he thrusts both arms out to grab it. In that order. Very quickly. In fact, the end expression looks rather a lot like this.

Checking carefully underneath his claws, Carth is only slightly disappointed to find out that it's just a napkin.

Buuuut that doesn't mean he isn't going to bat it back and forth a little bit. It does bounce so wonderfully, you see.

He chuckles lightly and takes a bit of his turkey sandwich, wraps it up in another napkin and tosses it at the cat-man.

Yes. He is a god of death. Why do you ask? He's allowed to tease cats if he wishes.

Phoenix is actually looking for Alec, but the notion of him bumping into Melkor first, is just too irresistible.

Gods of death, are after all, probably to be avoided by impressionable young angels.

That notion is quite funny. Melkor gives Phoenix a curious look.

"And you're an interesting one."

"I, um.. That's very nice of you to say so?" He ventures politely.

Phoenix knows death in itself isn't evil, it's quite necessary, but he's not terribly certain about official policies on angels, among hellgods, demons, and death gods.

And the like.

"I don't think I've ever seen a non-earth angel before."

Melkor isn't evil... well... he's not evil because he's a death god... he's evil because he's a power-hungry, want to take over everything guy. He'd be like that even if he was mortal. Besides, evil is such a mortal concept.
