At the bar, there's a young man seriously engaged in the business of drinking himself senseless.

"Celebrating or trying to get drunk?"

Tiwa asks as she comes beside his chair.

[scots_wolf]

"Oh, the Lady Tiwa!" he says, lifting his head. "Getting drunk. As drunk as I have money for."

[pi_wakawaka]

"That seems a waste of your money since if you get so drunk than you won't recall why you're drunk."

Carth knows how to boogie so it's no surprise when he sidles up to Tiwa and takes her hand for joint-boogie-ing.

Tiwa grins and dances with him, "Hello."

[mm_sunny]

He beams and twirls her.

"Hi pretty bird-lady."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Hello cute cat guy. How are you doing?"

Behind her, Jamie catches the door and squints through it, head tilted in apparent puzzlement.

"Gods, is that meant to be music?" he teases over his shoulder.

She sticks out her tongue at him as she grabs his hand,

"Course it is, the kind you can dance to."

Street musicians in Wellington are fun.

"Ah, dancing is it? Mayhap I should've changed my clothes," he says with mock chagrin, pulling her in close and sending her out in a quick twirl. "Now I'll go and get you dirty."

Jamie grins, thoroughly unrepentant.

"Can't think why I'd complain about that least if its dirt from you. So where have you been hiding yourself?"

She laughs at the twirl and kisses his nose when she ends up back near him.

She hops up and pokes his foot,

"You look happy."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Oh, did you bring him over yourself?"

She stops and hugs his legs since they're close.

Near the bar is a table. And at this table is a pilot, although she's wearing jeans and a black singlet today, so it's hard to tell she's a pilot. This pilot is also fiddling with some gadgetry, getting oil and grime on her hands.

She's also singing softly under her breath, something catchy and Spanish.

Tiwa first notices the flight suit and then the Spanish and walks over, giving Trudy a headtilt,

"You won't be Trudy, would you?"

Her hands pause, and then she looks up.

"Ye-es?"

[pi_wakawaka]

"Thought you might be. Think Carl said that you liked pancakes."

Tiwa perches on a nearby chair, "What are you working on?"
