Then she walks over and her peering is far more bird than girl,
"How'd you do that?"

He held up his hand and it melted to sand down to the wrist. It reformed a moment later, the sand disappearing into his clothes.

He held out his hand and the fingers each hardened into wickedly sharp claws of quartz crystal.
A shake and they were fingers again.
Another shake and most of his arm had become a massive smoky quartz club before he undid that as well.
