Regulus is in the library, trying to see if there are any resources there that might be of help regarding the mysterious bar in his closet. (And Anne's football locker, apparently.)
He's not counting on it working out; the school has a truly pitiful collection, especially compared to his family's library. But one never knows, and it's worth a try, in any case.

"I can imagine." The same reason he usually carries that crossbow around, most likely.
"Would you... like to go to a movie, after school?"
It's worth asking, at least. Worst she can do is say no, and if she does... well, he's fairly certain it won't be from lack of interest.

"... sure." Anne grins, running a hand through her hair. "We don't have practice tonight. I.. possibly shouldn't wear my jersey to a movie, but, um, I could meet you somewhere."

Regulus grins. "Oh, it's only a movie, wear whatever you want."
It's not as though she has to impress him. She's already done that.

"Regulus? This is Sunnydale. Who knows what'll happen at a movie. I think I'd rather wear something that doesn't have to be dry-cleaned all the time."

"...You have a point there. And a very wise idea, at that."
There's a reason he doubts he'll ever get into the habit of wearing tweed. It's bloody difficult to clean.

"So, where should we meet?" She pauses. "For that matter, what's on?"

[not_the_lion]

"...I hadn't thought through to that bit, yet."

Anne facepalms. "Oh, come on. You're a Watcher. Shouldn't you know everything down to the last detail?"

[not_the_lion]

"Not when it comes to not-so-fine cinema." Really, Anne, that's not in the job description.
"I think there's one of those Hogwarts movies out, at the moment. It'd be good for a laugh, if nothing else."

[vinceniaknight]

"Works for me." She grins at him, and dares to lean over and kiss him on the cheek. "I can meet you there about an hour after school, if that works."

[not_the_lion]

Regulus smiles. "Sounds good to me."
Someone probably saw her kiss him, but he doesn't rightly care, right now.

"I should get to class. As much as I hate Trig, well, the teacher's a pain in the ass if you're late." She reaches over and squeezes his hand. "I'll see you later, alright?"

[not_the_lion]

"I'll see you later."
He should probably be going soon himself, but it's only lunch, in his case.
