It's been four days since he'd left his parents' house, and Josh still isn't quite used to the concept of being safe. Safe in a way that he'd envied in other people for so long.

Trying not to wake Roger, he slips out of their room and heads into the kitchen.

Pancakes are in order for the day.

It's a bit before there's more stirring in Roger and Josh's room. After about five minutes of pancakes cooking, Roger stumbles out, running a hand through his hair. "Geeze, Angie, when'd you get all domestic on me?"

"I didn't think there was that much of a resemblence between me and Angie," Josh says dryly. "Coffee's ready and I'll have the rest of these cooked in a few."

Roger blinks. "... I didn't actually look at who was cooking. Erk. Sorry, Josh." He turns a bit red, and stumbles over to the coffee.
