Aaron enters the bar in a suit--a tweedy one that proclaims, This is the best thing I own--and immediately takes off his tie. He sits at the bar with a sigh.

"Sometime strong, please."

Up pops a whiskey on the rocks. It'll do.

He had to testify at a custody hearing today. A little sympathy would go a long way.

"It's a look you get to recognise", he says sympathetically, and hops off his barstool. "Angelo Espinosa."

He's short, at 5'7. And, yes, grey-skinned.

Aaron's not much taller, and grey skin is not that off-putting. He grew up with the Mayhews, after all.

"Aaron Fawkes, failed social crusader. Buy you a drink?"

Door glances down the bar toward Aaron and gives him a slight smile.

Pappas only drinks whisky when he's had a bad day, so she thinks it's only fair that she asks if this man's had one as well.

She stands up, closes the book she'd been reading and settles herself into a seat next to his.

"Tough day?" The words are accompanied by a slight head-tilt.

He looks up and nods, smiling faintly. "One of the worst. So." He holds up his glass.

"That in the 'and I never want to talk 'bout it again' way, or in the 'I need to talk about it or I'll explode' way?"

Bar pops up a plate of cucumbers and Door picks one up to nibble.
