Abby finds a way into Milliways again. This time, she enters with a smile on her face.

Her father is away on business, and her mother is in Switzerland for a spa weekend. It's just Abby and the staff in the house. She can breathe a little more easily and actually relax a bit.

Tiwa's being a bird at the moment so she flies around Abby's head.

Abby steps back in alarm, until she realizes what is flying towards her. She is a skittish girl. Things startle her easily.

"Oh, okay, just a bird."

When Tiwa sees her jump, she flies behind a chair to change and her dress is simple with touches of feathers and a scarf of feathers too,

"Hey, didn't mean to make you jump."

She opens her eyes wide and steps back another step.

"Um. I- I-"

She knows a little about ghosts, but nothing about shapeshifters. Not yet, anyway.

She'd possibly be curious about the young woman sharpening knives at a table.

She usually doesn't do this sort of thing out in the open very much - not if she doesn't have to - but she's got a Job and she needs to be prepared.

There's a girl sharpening knives at a table. They are likely not going to be used as cutlery, unless she comes from a place that is really different.

She can't help but stare. Does she use the knives to hunt animals? Or to kill people? She thought serial killers were usually big, scary guys in masks...

She glances up casually, not making a big deal out of it while she scans the room for her audience.

Eyes land on Abby.

She averts her eyes quickly. She's learned at home not to attract stares like that.

Especially not from her mother.

"Sorry," she mumbles. "Just- that's a lot of knives."
