The bruise on her face is pretty much gone, on her neck there's an awful looking scar and under her windbreaker she's hiding the cold iron scars

Jemaine's still not sure what to think of the Bar, but the outdoors remind him far more of home than his current life in New York. It's kind of nice to see greenery that isn't in Central Park.

.. And.. kids in trees. It's not weird, but it's not entirely normal these days either.

Tiwa's mostly just getting stared at in silence by the bespectacled individual.

"They just kind of accumulate over the years of lyrical writing," he points out lightly.

"Ooh, awesome."

[rainingonmyface]

"Yeah," he says, then pauses awkwardly to glance around him as if trying to grasp at something to say. "I'm in a band."

"Oh sweet, what are you called?"

[rainingonmyface]

"Flight of the Conchords. We're just trying to make it big in America right now. See how that works out for us." He doesn't sound massively enthused though, but then again, he rarely does.

"Wow, where in the America are you?"

[rainingonmyface]

It's a strange concept to have someone he's never met actually want to converse with him. "New York."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Seems a popular place, do you like it?"

[rainingonmyface]

"Yeh, it's okay. There's lots of people." And when unemployed and incredibly poor, it's hard to absolutely adore the place.

[pi_wakawaka]

"Oh, is your band catching on?"

[rainingonmyface]

"Uh, not really," he says with a shrug.

[pi_wakawaka]

"Aww that sucks."

[rainingonmyface]

"We have a fanbase! Well.. one fan. She's very persistent though."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Best place to start."

[rainingonmyface]

"Yis. We had two others too, but they just wanted to have sex with us."
