At another table, nearby, is another teenager. Not short, really - she's 5'7 - but there was a certain awkwardness when she walked over that suggests a growth spurt, and one where she is still trying to get used to longer limbs. Loose, long-sleeved shirt, the kind one wears to hide.
It matches the way she keeps her head ducked, the grime on her face, and her hair lank.
It matches the bruise on her arm that she can't help but rub, in movements that are stiff and akwward and wanttorungottarun-
Of course, Cam is ever curious, so after a moment, Walter has a pair of bright, curious green eyes watching him.
For her part, Cam hasn't reached her adult beauty anymore than she has reached her adult height. But even though she is still pretty, in a dark way, she's keeping that as hidden as she can, too.
But she's always watching his hands more than his face - there is something calming about hands just doing the same action, over and over with practiced ease.
Every now and then, he accidentally pricks a finger, but it doesn't seem to bother him. All part of the learning process, and pain is pretty inconsequential.
Incidentally, his hands look a little rough for someone who's in the garment industry.
When Dan sees that shock of red hair, he has his glasses off, as he is wiping them on his tie. By the time they are back on, he is already in, 'O HAY THERE WALTER,' mode, although this is quickly transformed into, 'O HAY THERE W

Unfortunately, it's a bit late, which is why his greeting comes out as a very loud, and a very awkward, "HI."
Weren't it for the height and the hair and just about everything else that makes the boy different, she would've sworn this was Kanji. The similarity of activities is enough to make her smile, however, and stride up to where he sits out of curiosity.
"Excuse me," she says, politely, but with a gentle authority.

And while Walter has eyes only for the shirt he's working on, his concentrated look (icon is accurate) should make for good watching.
It will be said in the future that he is 'fascinatingly ugly'. This is also true today.

Now if only he wasn't so fascinatingly ugl--I mean. Uh. Mr. Adrian Veidt is now going to approach your table with that smug little smile on his face.
"What are you working on?"
Lalala, just making conversation here. You know. Just checking up on why the normally homicidal sociopath is in his apparent youth innocently sewing.

Well. This guy looks rich. And smug. Never a good combination.
"A...A shirt, sir."

"Uh, yeah - look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. Um, you just look a lot like someone I know."
You ARE someone I know. Whoa.

Walter's never really been compared to anyone in the looks department before. He's intrigued.
