Nancy had given Richard a print of a photo she'd taken of him and Gary at the last Family Dinner. It was a really good shot, so Richard takes a frame down from the bookcase to replace an older one. Gary strolls into the apartment, puts his briefcase down, tosses his coat on the rack, and flops onto the couch.

"Oi! Nancy rung me up and said she'd brought summat over? That mean we've got food?"

Richard startles out of his revere, but makes himself answer,

"Aye, she put a tray in the oven to keep warm, and a bag of other stuff in the fridge."

He doesn't know if he should ask Gary about this, or let it lie...though Gary will probably want to know why he'd pulled all their photos down.

Gary's not noticed yet. He's had a long day.

"Sounds brilliant. Eh, Dick... what're you doing in there?"

"Um. Nothing, mate. Just getting a clean shirt."

He hastily changes shirts and breezes in to kiss his husband, and lingers over it a little.

"How was class?"
