There is another beastman in the garden, exploring this new place he's found himself in. When he stumbles across Leo, Jey stops to stare, for two reason.
One, he's never seen another taheen with such heavy human features. The proportions vary, but--never this much.
Two... taheen don't pray. He has no idea what he's seeing.

He hardly even notices that he has company, so lost in prayer. But he straightens up and puts a hand on the hilt of his sword.
The last murmur is loud enough to hear:
"Althena, give me the strength of will and body to do what you deem right..."

And is pretty good at hiding his surprise.
"I am praying," he says. "I am asking Althena for strength and guidance."
His ears flicker in annoyance and embarrassment. Prayer is supposed to be a private thing.
