It takes him all of three seconds to figure out what she is.
"Ah, you're a dryad." He smiles. "I am not quite what you are, although there are some undeniable similarities." He nods to the chair across from his own. "Care to join me?"
She leans forward and sniffs at his hair with a grin.
"You smell like tree!"
She's utterly delighted with this.
"Sure, I can sit."
And she does a minute later, plopping down into the chair before curling up a little like a squirrell. The belt at her hip slides over, the art deco-looking flashlight hanging curiously.
There's another redhead who looks rather more bundled up.
In fact, she's a little frostbitten and looks to be covered in a good amount of ash.
This hasn't deterred her from sitting at a table and sipping a hot cup of tea. It's what the bar has to deal with for pulling her in during her fieldwork.
No, she didn't get her father's sorcery. She did, however, get a slightly curvier figure from the Alorn side of things than her mother had ever had. All in all, considering what you could do with engineering? She was happier with the figure.
"You like the shirt?"
She does a quick arch of her back and wiggles her butt at him.
"What about the skirt?"
She pounces him again.
"Tell me I'm the prettiest girl you've kissed in a week, huh?"

The fact taht she's quite pretty as well might become a consideration in a few moments, but mostly it's the plant connection that draws his eye.

She tilts her head.
"Whoa, you're not Ce'Larin."
Reply
"'scuse me?" She's bit puzzled, but she gives the girl a friendly enough grin. No need to be nasty.

"Totally. It's creepy. You look like my little sister, Ce'Larin. Like... identical."

"My," he muses as he walks up to her, "Don't we look especially nice today."

"You think so?"

"I do, in fact." Ah, shameless flattery. It gets you everywhere. But he does mean it, at least.
