When he groggily slid off the couch at 5:30 to get ready for work, his bedroom door led to Milliways instead.
Now, Juliet's not the only one crashing by the fireplace. While Max is kind of annoyed that he's spending time here while time back home is frozen (which means he'll be away from Ben for even longer), he's very thankful that he doesn't have to go in to work just yet.
So there he is, sprawled sideways on a loveseat, staring blearily up at the ceiling.
"I don't know him? I sleep with him every night and have been for the last three months! We work together now, and he told me all about Alex and that island and that Widmore guy and you're telling me that I don't know him?"
"Because he did something bad to me. And to a lot of other people. He's killed other people. Innocent people. He's lied to them, manipulated them, cheated them. I've seen it. I know it. You don't."
"Shut up! You don't know him like I do! No one's ever treated me as well as he does, and I know he loves me, and I think it's about damn time someone loved him back."
Max didn't get any sleep after that.

Well.
Max can't really try to draw a comparison between that and what Ben did to him, but...
