He sneaks in the door and it takes a moment realize he's in the Bar and then he sits by the fire, shivering, almost got caught today.

James is already at the fireplace, reading to himself (Quidditch Through the Ages for the thousandth time).

One hand periodically peeks out from behind his book for the plate of chips (fries) to his left.

The chips smell good but he won't steal just sort of come a little closer to James.

James hasn't noticed little Will yet. He's crammed his mouth full of chips and is re-reading a passage about the Porskoff Ploy.

Yeah, he's pretty sure he could do that.

James seems preoccupied but he also looks rich so Will sneaks one chip and then eats it quickly so he doesn't get in trouble.
