 Jack comes down to the bar from his room and immediately notices something different.

He can see the door.

He thought he'd be glad to see it, but at the sight of the door, all he feels is a knot start to form in his stomach.  Slowly, he walks over to the door, reaches out with a shaking hand--and stops.  For a minute, he stands there, telling

Sara's sitting at the bar, nursing a mug of coffee.

"Hi."

"Hey, Sara," Jack says, taking a sip of his drink and hoping she doesn't notice that his hand's still shaking a bit. "How're you?"

"Getting too old for triple shifts." She glances over at him, taking in the shaking hand without visible reaction. "Something wrong?"

"Didn't sleep well," he says, a little shiftily. Not that it's not true, its just not the reason he's a little jumpy at the moment.

"Must be a hard case if you're doing triple shifts," he says.
