Howard looks pretty tired. A week in Berlin can do that. But with the war over, the Allies want to rebuild quickly, and he's been asked to see what he can do to help

Howard really shouldn't stare. It's rude. But the young woman could have a second head and she wouldn't be much more startling. Or macabre.

And that swastika...why would anyone want that?

He stares, and tries to stop himself before she notices.

"Yes. Your, er, mode of decoration stands out." He won't deny his stare but won't apologize. Whose fault it is that she looks like that.

"You look tired, Mr. Stark."

The voice that mentions this might be familiar; the face should be. Alisa's visible for once, finding it too cold to comfortably not be wearing clothes, inside or out. And yes, she does remember his name.

"Hello, Alisa. Nice to see you. And to see you." He definitely remembers her.

"It's pretty cold outside for me," she says with a small smile. "A bit too much to not be wearing something."

"It looks nice on you." It will still take getting used to her immodesty. Even if part of him likes it. "How are things at your academy?"

Here's someone who might interest Stark.

Kale's sitting with a bunch of electronics spread over the table and intently scribbling notes. It's quite the mess, but it looks like he's making some sort of electronic thingy that will go ding when done.

Howard begins to watch. Some of what's there is familiar, much of it is not. And all of it is fascinating.

Well it is a mix between 2011 technology and magic-tech, so it probably is quite interesting.

Something sparks - it's hard to tell what it is and Kale starts cursing loudly in Gaelic, because Gaelic has all the best curse words. Getting up and shaking his hand rapidly he goes over to the bar to get a cup of ice.

Howard takes advantage of the man's absence to get a closer look. Everything seems so small. The fruition of ideas and concepts he only dreamed of.
