"Oh, that's easy! You forget whatever you were jut doing, and come on in here!" she declares. "I don't care if you were in Zeal's Ocean Palace, or the End of Time, this place is a lot more interesting."
THERE WILL BE INSTA-SLOW/DROP TOMORROW but.thegoodesonJuly 21 2011, 00:59:40 UTC
Sam, one might say, feels a certain kinship with the little wizard. There's something about being a bully-magnet that gives one a certain empathy for others of the same sort. He would certainly approve of using Milliways to put off classes, and possibly even offers a grin Neville's way, should their gazes meet.
(It's possible he's taking some time off from being Mark's favourite punching bag, himself).
Twelve year old Sam spots Neville looking awkward and comes over, he doesn't want to go back home yet since he doesn't know how to explain that he likes spending time in the forge to his parents.
He has a surcoat that he really should clean on and walks over to Neville, "Are you lost?"
Anakin may not be helping, with his pancakes-and-bacon breakfast at a table fairly near the door.
He senses Neville's uncertainty mid-bite (he's grown attuned to appearances at the door), and glances over as he chews. And lifts his fork in a sort of wave.
Anakin swallows his mouthful and glances around (his siblings aren't there to judge, right?) before calling, "Y'want some pancakes? Chocolate chip are the best."
He's more than okay with ordering more. Partly because lol rich parents, and partly because not-so-lol Sith lord brother who has a tab.
. . . so admittedly the blood loss is making him kind of woozy, but Cal is pretty sure that of the two people in his world with his face, he is not the one who is supposed to survive these things.
On the plus side, though, he's not actually bleeding all that much anymore as he stumbles into Milliways, so he doesn't get any dirty looks from the waitrats! Hey, you take your silver linings where you can get them.
The problem with getting mugged when the national headlines are all about how no one anywhere has died in the last day and a half is that the muggers are a lot more willing to use the knives they wave around. It's not like they're killing anyone, after all.
"Yeah, I'm great." Cal's voice is thin and thready, as might be expected from substantial blood loss. He blinks, trying to focus on whoever addressed him.

Lucca knows a thing or two about being lost herself.

Happily, Sams make places less scary. It is proven fact.
