An elegant black cat oozes onto the table to inspect the fish. Clearly it must be for her, as it is fish and she wants it. She ignores the other cat for right now because fish is more interesting than tea.
Over there at the table next to them is a red haired man with a gray kitten on his head. The kitten is trying to poke his eye out. As they do. He's ignoring this with remarkable fortitude as he reads the paper.
A smaller black fluffy kitten is splayed on his lap, snoozing.
Julian didn't realize that cats were so common in the Bar.
"I beg your pardon," he says calmly, moving the plate a little. "That's not for you." He reaches for the cat, and will attempt to remove it to the floor.
The brown cat does not seem to be paying too much attention.
Attention-getting is a bit of an understatement. Augusta's not sure what she's done to attract so many animals today. But at least this one's a little less pathetic and seemingly needy.
"Um, hello?" she says, a little belatedly, watching the leopard sit next to the puppy. She really can't help admiring it-- it's a gorgeous cat.
The puppy is yipping at the newcomer. He can't decide if he's okay with it or not.
He shrugs and winces since that hurts. There's a bruise forming on the side of his neck and its hard to tell but there's more mud on his clothes than normal.
"Of course not-- please," Julian says, gesturing to the chair. He gets out of his seat a bit, politely rearranging the plates on the table so there's more room in front of the empty chair, should William want to order something.
Once they're situated again, he inquires, "May I ask what happened to your arm?"

And then the next moment she'll be back on the table apparently having skipped the step in between of jumping back onto the table.
She gives him a bland look. Don't be ridiculous. The fish is hers, she wants it.

Julian turns to the man sitting at the table beside. "Excuse me," he says, his voice soft and polite. "Does this cat belong to you?"
He takes his plate of fish off the table, holding it out of reach.

The puppy pauses when he is looked at, then barks again.

Julian tries not to snicker, but his face is twisted into an odd smile when he greets (rather cheerfully), "Hello."

"Why are you pulling that face?"

As he walks to the counter, he passes Julian and stops to tip his hat and give the cat a look, "That Nick, sir?"

"You catch on quickly," he notes. "Good to see you again, Mr. Evans."
Nick appears to be sulking. He makes something like a face and lies down.
