So the govt is saying that due to shortages, the Pfizer vaccine may not be here as early as next month as originally proposed, and we may need to wait a bit longer. I don't see that as a drama - it's not like Australia has a pressing need at this point, and the govt has already said that it's unlikely that the ban on overseas travel will be lifted

On another note, I bought a kayak today. Time will tell whether this was the biggest waste of money ever or the best lifestyle decision I've ever made.

And hmmn - an interesting thought, being one of millions of guinea pigs for Australia's vaccine decisions... I think on the whole I'm glad it's all happening over here though - if it even makes life slightly less dangerous, then that works for me. I've just ordered a supermarket shop delivery for the first time in my life, because I decided I just didn't really fancy braving the hordes right now, and it turns out there are some things that I just can't get from a local shop... :s

Oh believe me if I was in the UK or the USA I'd be lining up right now for the vaccine. I guess we have the luxury of time, unlike some other places. Don't blame you for the supermarket order - when we were in lockdown I'd have done the same, except that the supermarkets suspended deliveries for anyone other than the really vulnerable. They were being swamped.

As you do indeed! Not much else to say about the kayak really, except that I loved kayaking while on holidays. Hopefully it's not just a holiday thing. I'm taking it out tomorrow, let's see how I go :-) .
