One of my colleagues returned to work today after spending the weekend at Bathurst, and he had a couple of little bits of V8 Supercar merchandise for me which absolutely delighted me!

Oh, this particular colleague has been trying to get me to go to Bathurst with him for the last three years now! He and a bunch of mates rent a house there every year just for the weekend. He spent last Friday sending me text messages of the practice times set down by various drivers! He knows me, all right.

Yeah, cats are all good! Happy, healthy, rocking around. I have some photos which I will get around to uploading soon.

Master Bodie is a most unusual cat. He is a terror and a torment to the others, to the point that I have to separate him from Fatty Girl - she has decided that the best defence is a good offence and she lays into him whenever she sees him now. He just wants to play but he's rough, and the others don't appreciate it!
I bought him a new collar today; it's green camo patterned, and he looks quite smart!

It IS awesome! *waves to other non-girlie girl* That was his 1977 car, believe it or not. A9X Torana (by Holden, owned by General Motors). I'd still own it today if I could.
I've not watched much NASCAR - it's mainly televised on pay tv here and I don't watch enough tv to warrant subscribing - but it looks very entertaining! Tintops, like our V8 Supercars, rather than open wheelers which leave me a bit cold....
