Oh you. *snugs* Do you have pictures from the trip? I can't tell you that the best way to deal with this is to remember, as you seem to feel worse when you do, but looking back on something concrete like actual things you have of the trip might help. Practice your Japanese; it may bring back the times you studied it. Also, promise yourself you'll go there again. Maybe you're away-from-homesick.

Thanks. *hugs*
Oh yes I have many pictures, I put them on Facebook already but it's private so I can't show you. ^^;
I have to post some there.
I know all this was real, but it really feels like a dream. xD

Naw, it's fine. I think this whole process of remembering is pretty much personal already, so I can't impose on you too much either. They were only suggestions. I do hope you get to go there again though! I've heard stories of trips to Japan, and they're all so magical. ♥

For sure now I want to go here again, it would be like I will experience all of it again like it was the first time! ♥

XD

Weird, isn't it? I felt the same way when I came back from Japan, though I'd been there for 2 months even. I just fell back into my routine so quickly, with classes starting just after the weekend I came back and meeting all my friends again and stuff, that it started feeling all distant and unreal in no time. Crazy stuff.

Thanks for confirming that's it's quite normal.
That's true I came back to my routine pretty easily too.
Will you go back? I think I have to go one more time now. :S

Yeah, I'll be going back for a year either next summer or in 2012, depending on whether I get accepted into my university's exchange program or not. I definitely need to go back, there's so many things left undone... ^^

(Thanks! :D)

I hope you will be able to go then! *fingers crossed*
For my part, I was able to see both Tokyo and the Kansai countryside with its simplicity, so I must say it was quite awesome and complete. :D
(My dream to be in an onsen and wear a kimono isn't fulfilled yet thought... xD)
