There's a headline on the BBC website: "Human embryo cloning mulled." When I see the word "mulled" then "wine" comes by association, so I'm thinking a nicely warmed embryo drink with cinnamon and orange etc.

Update: They've gone and changed it to "Human embryo cloning considered." Boring.

God, I wish I'd read this before dinner and not on a full stomach.

Remind me if you come to Sweden to introduce you to Keviks Varm och Kallt, which is a great spiced cider drink, moderately alcoholic, definitely yummy.

Sounds fab, I'm booking my flight now!

I was actually hoping to come to Sweden this year as my cousin's baby was going to be christened there & they promised to invite me, but either they "forgot" the invitation or they changed their minds.

As a teenager my "job" at my parents' traditional Boxing Day party was to mull the wine. One year sticks in my mind: we ran out of brandy so I cunningly used a bottle of poteen (sp?) - Irish backwoodsman home-made firewater - to fortify the brew. People were talking in tongues. :-)

You didn't try fortifying it with cloned embryos then?

Sounds like pretty good stuff anyway.
