A friend of mine is visiting the UK from abroad would appreciate advice on the following

I stayed at the Euston travelodge a couple of weeks ago which was OK. I got the room for 49 quid (and between two of us that was quite reasonable) but usually their rooms are 99 pounds apparently. That's still cheaper than most other places though!
