Clark pulled away, astonished by what Oliver just told him. He must be upset by this whole kidnapping thing, he thought. Oliver really seemed to be distressed; Clark could see tears in his eyes. He cupped Oliver’s face in his hands so he could look at him. Clark’s expression was serious, his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes were full of concern. Oliver’s heartbeats became faster, wondering if that was the moment that he’d been waiting for. The blond man closed his eyes, leaning his head toward Clark’s.
“Oliver, you’re sure you’re alright?” Clark asked, stopping Oliver in his tracks. Upon opening his eyes, he noticed the younger man was now staring at Oliver as if he was crazy.
“You’re bleeding.” Clark stated, looking at his hands that just covered Oliver’s face. “Come on, let’s get you to a doctor,” he added.
Disappointed, Oliver nodded. The strong farm boy carried the billionaire on his shoulder, and barely a second later, they were in front of a hospital.

Oliver’s wounds were superficial, nothing serious so he was quickly discharged by the doctor. Clark stayed with Oliver the entire time. At least he’s not running away. Oliver thought, slightly relieved.
Still they didn’t talk to each other and this was driving Oliver crazy. What was Clark thinking?
Even as they left the hospital, they both avoided looking at each other. Great, the situation isn’t awkward at all. Oliver thought. One of Oliver’s cars was parked in front of the hospital; his driver was reading the newspaper, waiting for his boss.
Oliver cleared his throat. “Clark? Since our plans were interrupted by this woman…kidnapper…or whatever, would you like to come have dinner to my place tonight? My driver right here will take us to the penthouse.”
“Sure.” Clark replied, which made Oliver smile. Clark was about to get into the car when suddenly Oliver invaded his personal space. He took Clark’s face in his hands and kissed him quickly so the younger man couldn’t pull away.
“Oliver, what the…?” Clark said but the older man stopped him putting a finger on his lips
“Shh”. Oliver was leaning his head toward Clark again.
“Oliver, I think…”
Oliver smirked and stopped Clark again. “Don’t think.” And then he kissed him again, this time the kiss was longer and Clark kissed back by instinct, not thinking what was actually going on. They finally broke the kiss because of the lack of air.
“Oh, Oliver, what…that was…” Clark said, confused and breathing heavily.
“Let’s just say that it was great okay?” Oliver replied and winked. Clark nodded quickly and opened the car door for Oliver. Clark made sure that Oliver got in the car then he super speeded away.
Clark ran faster than ever to Chloe’s apartment. He knocked at the door, hoping she was here.
“Clark? I called you many times!” Chloe said, immediately upon answering the door, ready to reprimand him.
“Chloe, I’ve got to talk to you.” He replied, panic in his voice.
“Oh, okay…Come on in.” She replied sympathetically, her anger fading when she noticed his distress.

Once he got in the car, Oliver realised that Clark was gone, leaving him alone.
“Damn it!” he said angrily, hitting his fist against the window.
“Where are we going Sir?” asked the driver.
“The Kent Farm.” He replied with bitterness.
