Sadly, I'm fanfic addicted enough- and invested enough in this story- that it made my top five list of things I was most torn up about losing. It possibly ranked as high as it did because I was actively working on it the moment my laptop died, so my gut reaction at the time was, "My fic!"

...I lost my NaNoWriMo novel, too. That, I cried over.
