You know, I actually have mixed feelings about it. When the show ended I was crushed, but there was so much time between then and when they did the straight to DVD movies that by the time they came out, I was wishing they'd just let the show fade away into tv history because there was no way the quality of the DVD movies could match the quality of the writing of the show, and I was kinda right (although I can't fully judge all of them since I've watched the first two beginning to end, the third I haven't watched, and the fourth I partially slept through at Comic-Con). Of course it had everything to do with the fact that the show was never meant for a longer format than 22 minutes and the pacing was all screwy

WOW! This is a long reply! ^^ But I liked hearing your thoughts, and I understand your reflectance and fears. It's good to hear that the original voice actors are coming back, because if they didn't, what would be the point? Pokémon was ruined with new voice actors, so already that sounds extremely promising to me. I hope it lives up to your expectations! You're the biggest fan of this show I've ever met! :)
